You know, Liz, I must admit I LOVE crankin' the Peas when I'm driving or even dancing around my apt to them. Growing up in the 80s and loving just about everything New Wave had to offer, this post is a true sentiment that the 80s will keep resurfacing and will never truly fade. That said, I could almost smell the Aqua Net X-tra super hold in the PINK can as I thought of nights that my older sister and I would crank "Sally (that girl)" and laugh that we had the best of Florentine Gardens going on in her car w/o having to pay a cover or choke to death by fumes from the cholos swimming in over-sprayed Drakkar. Don't phunk with my heart, just turn up the song!!!
 

Ew, what's with creepy club dudes and Drakkar Noir? The two go hand-in-hand. There was this time when Estelle and I were at Club 80s and this nasty guy hit on her and, after she gave him the boot, he came up to me and said, "Since your friend brushed me off, I figured I would give you a try." He was wearing Drakkar. I could smell it from across the club and I have such bad allergies that I can barely smell anything!
 

and we called said man Long Duck Dong because he obviously raided the 16 candles foreign exchange student's closet. That was a creepy night, Liz, i still remember, and how lame club 80's became after it left the sushi bar. Fergie was in KIDS Incorporated? man, i still would wup her lame ass. let me take off my big ole gold hoops, tease and spray up my bangs!
