The Autumns have been one of my favorite LA bands for nearly a decade. (I even wrote about them for this website last year. ) That said, I am really excited to hear that the band is currently working on new material. According to the website, the Autumns have finished seven songs and are in pre-production for another seven tracks. Should the recording process stick to schedule, a new album will be ready in early-2006. In the meantime, The Autumns are playing live this Saturday (10/01/05) at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. One certain PDP contributor (who knows full well who he is) saw the band play last week and really should mention something here about it, since he keeps on mentioning that he wants to post something every time I catch him on IM. If I make it out to the Troubadour this weekend, I'll update accordingly.
