Attention Annie Fans

Next month, Annie, the Norwegian hipster chanteuse with a penchant for taking bubble-gum pop literally ("Chewing Gum"), joins the ranks of Trevor Jackson, Tiga, Erlend Oye and a slew of others who have released DJ Kicks compilations through !K7 records. The e-card features the tracklisting, a video interview with Annie and contests. This compilation will feature two unreleased tracks, "The Wedding" and "Gimme Your Money." The former will also be featured on an upcoming download-only release, Annie Digital EP, through I-tunes.

Comments:
Funny, I thought of Annie as a DJ. But I guess if Erland Oye can, she can too. Either way, that tracklisting looks good. I dig the ESG and Liquid Liquid stuff, I know their revivals were kinda two years ago, but I'm just now realizing how great it all is. Thank you for posting this.

Anyone can DJ.
Speaking of such things, did you ever hear that dance tune, "I Just Want to Be a Drummer?" It goes like so, "My foot wants to be a DJ..." Funny stuff.
