Dahlia is Ready to Take on LA

Longtime readers of this blog know that we're fans of Berlin-based performer Dahlia. So, we're happy to announce that she will be in Los Angeles for a series of performances. Check her out April 15 at Hang the DJs and April 21 at Diskoteka. Also, it looks like there will be an April 14th show somewhere in LA where yours truly will be playing records as well.

P.S. If anyone knows why I can't insert hyperlinks or use bold, itallic, underline, etc. on here, let me know. I'm posting from a Mac for the first time (using Safari) and haven't figured out all the odds and ends yet.

Here's some HTML for that:

<i>italic</i>
<b>bold</b>

-for underlining, it's like italic, but with "u" instead of "i".
-for images, use "img src" instead of "a href" (you don't need another "/img" tag at the end, though)

Thanks. So do the automatic formatting things just not exist when you use Safari?

Right. I just checked all my browsers and they do exist on the Mac version of Firefox, and also Camino (which uses the same code as Firefox, but is specifically designed for Mac).

I think there might be some CSS style code that overrides your HTML tags for bold, underline, etc. Usually it's included in the template for your blog, I'm not sure how or if you can look at it or edit it. Hope that helps.
